WALKING STREET
Walking Street is what Pattaya is all about, it is the reason Pattaya exists and the whole city has been built from Walking Street back. Walking Street is where tourist spend their first night of adult entertainment in Pattaya and it’s everyone’s mission to find it.
Walking Street is located at the very south end of Pattaya Beach Road and is about 700 meters long with hundreds of bars, A go go’s, gentleman’s clubs, disco’s, nightclub’s and restaurants, but most importantly – girls, lots of girls – GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS.
Walking Street is the gateway to the Thai sex industry and is fast becoming the number spot in South East Asia for sex tourism and allows access to the other red light area’s pattaya has to offer.

THE PATTAYA CIRCUIT
The main transport hub in Pattaya consists of Beach Rd and Second Rd and connected by Dolphin Roundabout in North Pattaya
The baht buses drive around and around, day and night, picking up passengers from the side of the street and dropping them off at some other point along the circuit, usually for a 10 baht fee per person.
THE 9 MAIN ROADWAYS
Pattaya’s layout is basically dominated by 9 major roads –

WEST TO EAST
BEACH ROAD PATTAYA
Beach Rd – As the name suggests, Beach Rd is the road that runs parallel to the beach along the Pattaya foreshore and basically 2.2 km’s long and points to the north and south, the traffic travels in one direction to the south all the way to walking street.
2ND ROAD PATTAYA
2nd Road– is the second major road back from the beach, it is about 2.5 kms long and traffic runs in one direction from south to north. It ends in north Pattaya at the dolphin roundabout.
3RD ROAD PATTAYA
3rd Road is about 1km east from Beach rd and is one of the city’s main arteries for getting from one side of town to the other in a short time, 3rd rd can handle large volumes of traffic and traffic moves north to south in both directions for about 4 kms.
SUKHUMVIT ROAD PATTAYA
Sukhumvit Road– is about 3 kms from the beach and represents the outer city limits of Pattaya, it is a major highway with four lanes in both directions travelling all the way to north to Bangkok and south east to Trat near Koh Chang.
NORTH TO SOUTH
NA KLUEA ROAD
Na Kluea Rd-Starts at the Dolphin roundabout in North Pattaya and is the road furthest to the north and travels in a north- east direction to Na Kluea 3 kms away, Traffic moves in Both directions.
NORTH PATTAYA ROAD
North Pattaya Rd– Known locally as Pattaya Nua, starts at the Dolphin roundabout North Pattaya and travels in a East direction 2.5 kms to Sukhumvit Road. Traffic moves in both Directions.
PATTAYA KLANG – CENTAL ROAD PATTAYA
Central Pattaya Rd– Known locally as Pattaya Klang. Being 2.5 kms long, it basically splits Pattaya down the Middle, East to west from Sukhumvit Road to Beach road, traffic moves in both directions.
SOUTH PATTAYA ROAD
South Pattaya Rd– Known Locally as Pattaya Thai, It is 3 kms long and runs in a East-West direction from Sukhumvit Road to 2nd Road near Walking Street. Traffic moves in both directions.
SOI BOAKHAO
Soi Boakhao is a popular part of Pattaya where westerner’s like to stay and party and is fast becoming the rival to Walking Street as a night time entertainment hotspot.
