Would it surprise you to know that Pattaya Park isn’t in Pattaya, It’s actually in Jomtien, just a little further south.

Pattaya Park is the original Pattaya adventure playground built in the early 1980’s and is part of the Pattaya Park Hotel complex, and is the perfect family holiday destination wether you are a hotel guest or not, offering all the entertainment of the amusements and water parks as well as all the beach activities you would expect from a beach resort.

LOCATION

Pattaya Park is located at the bottom of Soi 12 Thapphraya Rd on the right as you head to Jomtien Beach, it is easily accessible to anyone who wants to go there and virtually every taxi service will know where it is and how to get there.

You can divide Pattaya Park into 3 sections

  • The water park
  • The fun park
  • The hotel

 

THE WATER PARK

10 am – 6 pm

The water park is open to both guest of the hotel as well as the general public, if you’re not a hotel guest then the admission price cost 100 Baht for adults and 60 Baht for children, the admission price allows you to enjoy all the water park activities as many time as you like without limit.

THE WHIRLPOOL

The water park is built around a massive pool that uses a series of pumps that are directed to push water around the pool, in one direction, causing a current that gently washes you around the pool and that’s why they call it the whirlpool.

THE SPEED SLIDES

There are 2 long water slides and 2 short ones; both will give you a fast fun trip down the slide into the pool below, speeds of up to 50 km/hr can be achieved down the 2 long slides that will have you skimming across the surface of the water like a bouncing stone.

THE TUBE SLIDES

There are also 2 low speed tube slides available for those who prefer more fun and less speed, the tubes will gently spiral you around to the left and right as you head down the shut to the bottom and into the pool below.

 

KIDDIE’S POOL

There is a kiddie’s pool available for parents who have young children who cannot swim yet or are not comfortable or ready for the deeper pools, the kiddies pool is about 40 cm deep and is ideal for those who need to accompany their child or keep a close eye on their toddler.

 

THE FUN PARK

11 am – 9 pm

The fun park has something for everyone of every age, there are a good number of rides that will suit small children, to the full on adrenaline junkie.

Don’t forget you can take the sky shuttle up 170 meters to the observation tower on top of the hotel and strap into a harness and jump of the top floor and glide by cable down to the ground again for the ultimate rush.

The hotel has a staggering 718 rooms and can accommodate everyone from a standard room of 34 square meters to a family suite with 2 rooms with a total area of 87 square meters

The highlight of Pattaya Park Hotel are the 3 revolving restaurant located on the 52,53,54 floors, that provide a unimpeded 360 degree view of Pattaya and Jomtien.
